Do You Want to be Famous?

I had this conversation with my daughter the other day as she was explaining why she wants to be a famous actress. 

Her explanation was that she wants to be a positive role model.

She knows at the age of 14 that in order to be known, you have to be seen.  The only way to impact many lives is to put yours in the spotlight.

Little does she realize that being famous can come with a price.

You lose your privacy, your daily life can be interrupted and things that were so simple before, such as grabbing a coffee at Starbucks, becomes complicated if the paparazzi are following you.

Of course, not ALL famous people have these challenges.

Some just want to be known in their industry as an expert, a leader and a role model.

Its interesting that my teen daughter is so willing to give up her privacy to change lives.  She inspires ME over and over again.

I have been stepping out from the shadows and doing more public appearances these days when the real me wants to hide, shrink back and have a quiet little life.

I was never the type to want too many eyes on me at one time.  In fact, I barely make eye contact with anyone in public. 

But… there is this overwhelming soul urge that says to me daily, “you know too much”… “you MUST help others”. 

Many people have told me that I’m wiser than my years. 

The only explanation I can give is that I just KNOW THINGS.  My intuition is so strong some days that I scare myself and others around me.

It DOES come in handy for business and my clients have benefited greatly from this gift.

So, I don’t get to hide.

I don’t get to play small.

My influential gifts were never meant to be hidden.  I actually enjoy igniting the light in others.

Maybe it isn’t all that bad if someone recognizes you in public and states, because of you and your message, you changed my life.

This has already happened to me many times and it never gets old.

My question to you is, do you have a soul urge?

Do you want to be famous or just simply known in your industry, so you can help more people?

I’ve been doing some crash course sessions with many clients these days.
